today so far
Feb. 18th, 2015 11:52 amSo. I wake up to a nice and half blue, half cloudy sky. With sun, lot's of it. Eat hot oatmeal for breakfast (it did me good yesterday so I decided to repeat it today), dress up and out I go. As an afterthought, I decided to take my blue raincoat rather than the fleece coat (the fleece coat is a good, thick warming thing, but I don't think it's water-resistant.)
About 30 minutes later, just as I get of the bus, light rain starts. Nice and light, am not worried. I zip up my coat all the way up and off I go.
By the time I cross the street, the nice, light rain changed into heavy rainfall. That get's more heavy by the minutes.
By the time I reach work - all in all, about 7-10 minutes worth of walk - I resemble a drenched rat more than anything. My clothes are soaked - through the damn, fucking coat! .
Now, I am holding here in work extra socks and shirt just for such emergencies, so the upper part of my body was dealt with easily. My pants, however, are another thing. So I'm sitting with another coat here that's I have at work over my lap, it's protecting me from the cold and damp to a great degree.
I think that pool today will not happen - thought to resume swimming. But in this weather doing anything that's not really needed urgently is foolish.
Tomorrow? It's the fucking heavy coat.
Poor
antongarou. He was worried ab out about Baby this morning, so he ran out of the door without any coat. Not smart. He is not doing well as it it. Tomorrow he will preform a huge list of blood screen that cover just about anything, from what I see.
My mom calls. Yack.
