Day post unlocked
Oct. 29th, 2015 10:15 pmSo, I have decided to start watching Haven.
This decision was not made light-heartedly. I had long wanted to try this series, since it sees both my kind of TV show, and also I've heard many good reviews about it. However, I was severely warned regarding the intensely triggery nature of this series.
However, during the last two years my tolerance had grown. Enough so that I could watch The 100. And even more than that - I've learned to identify my red lines and safety borders, and respect them. (i.e avoiding from watching the last two episodes of The 100 once it became too triggery because of the security situation).
So I'm going to give it a try. Watched the first episode with
lovechilde this week, (followed by Leverage), and I've really enjoyed it. Despite the fact that I'm quite spoiled on many factors, I was still surprised.
I'm going to try the second episode now, I think.
Today we have also watched together an Israeli show called "A Game of Chefs". This one is completely, completely adorable - it's a mix between The Voice and Master Chef. It has all the adorb of The Voice, minus Aviv - which is a huge bonus point for me, since I've came to despise this guy. A whole lot.
The last audition had everyone, ourself included, in tears. However, there were many parts which had us crying from laughter. So, yeah, this one is a keeper to watch on the weekdays when we need some relaxing time together after a hard day.
Speaking of which - my TL is an asshole, and I can't count on her for anything. I asked three times today to speak with her regarding the laptop - which is meant, mind you, for me to work more hours from home. And no, I will not get extra payment for this, I can assure you.
And she fucking screened me off each time.
So. If this keeps, the next stage is for me to take a 30 minuts nap when I'm having bad days, in CP (there are couch on the 7 floor, and I do not shy from using them) and than go back to work. At least this way I will be paid extra money. Screw them.
And the shoes today passed with flying colours: the morning rains had the streets around CP in shin-deep water. Yeah, it was about as fun as it sounds. However, despite the fact that my pants got wet, my feet remained completely dry. Much to my intense surprise. I didn't expect them to preform that well. It's worse every bit of NIS I've paid for it. (around 850 NIS).
The only problem is that I have pressure wounds on my shin, and it's fucking hurting. Not fun.
Also - today I tried again the Ixel. After this morning I took only 30 G.So far, so good, much to my relief. (those kind of emails I'm delighted to send to Hagar).
Overall, day started ick, but ended well, so:)
