Weekend and Today
Dec. 6th, 2015 02:01 pmToday is rather miserable, but the weekend was quite nice, all in all.
Friday morning we had a brunch in Edna, in honor of
antongarou's birthday. Unfortunately not all of us could arrive, but the place is very nice, the food good (although we have arrived rather late and had leftovers mostly) and their sponge cake is made of gold, really. Best part of the meal. And I think
antongarou loved his gifts.
However, since the place is rather far away from all of us and not very comfortable located, we decided we will not go back there soon. We will want to plan another brunch for the five of us in a few weeks, but next time I think the Kisharia of that pub that Hagar liked in Disengov will be a better choice.
Later I wanted a new case cover for my phone. Well and good. We went to a good-looking shop in Ramat Hasharon and I chose a nice case. However, the salesperson talked
antongarou into buying nice super-thin phone with a huge screen. I for my part talked him into switching phones with me, since I have arthritis in my wrist, and the lighter weight is significant.
However, moving data from laptop to phone proved a rather Heraclitus task. We have Linux and the computer just does not know to talk with the phone. If we can't solve this, I just might switch phones back because I've had enough, and there is no support for this.
Later that evening we had watched the fifth episode of Killjoys...that was a special kind of horror. We had spoiled yourself extensively, but still, it was a special kind of horror. The worst for me was the elevator scene.
G, by some six feline sense, knew we what we were getting into and jumped right up between us as soon as we started the episode. He lay there snuggling between us the whole time. That (and a hot chocolate plus a Tima Maria shot) helped me get out out of the intense panic episode. (It was bad enough for dissociation). Also,
lovechilde came by to watch a cute, fluffy reality song show with us. ("a Star is born" for the Eravision. I really didn't have so much fun watching a song show since the second season of the Voice).
Today, however, I'm rather flat-out dead and limp with fatuige again. I think it has to do with something at work, but that's not for this lock.
