Feline update-plus pics:)

Please mark an historical first: My parents loved a picture in which I appear. They they they had never seen me so happy as in this picture,and that I "don't look too fat in it:"

So far the children are getting along with minimum fuss and almost no fights at all. It's truly remarkable. Both can claim equal share in the Chasing and Batting race; Our little Sam no less than G, who is twice her size. For now, darling, god help you when she is bigger.

Regarding Sam and us: Things are improving. She is less frightened of us, she is allowing us to pat her a bit,and does not always pounce for a bite. I take care to speak very softly to her and give her a toy to bite when she does, and praise her once she is taking hold of the toy instead of my hand/feet.

Every night we sit with her and pet her while she is happily devouring her Tuna. Also, I have taken to approaching her while sitting down and crawling toward her, in order to look smaller and less intimating, and it looks like it's helping.
