I think G is has some Sphinxes blood.

Here is the general definition of the Sphinxes cat behaviour:

"Sphinxes are known for their extroverted behaviour. They display a high level of energy, intelligence, curiosity, and affection for their owners. They are one of the more dog-like breeds of cats, frequently greeting their owners at the door and friendly when meeting strangers"

G does all the above, including meeting us daily by the door. And being as clingy as a dog at times. Not too mention those huge ears, and long,long legs. About 60 % of his hight is sheer legs.

And he eats.Abut three or four of what the vet recommended.

And he learns in an alarming speed.

Overall, he does less damage than can be expected of a cat with his youth and energy.

He does not allow me to pick him up yet, but I am also afraid to try, since I don't know how to hold cats. Maybe it will come with time.

Now I better go to sleep, it's nearly 1 and I really should not be on the comp at this hour.

Our cat has a foot fetish:) aside from the fact that he will bite or else cuddle to our feet at any chance, he loves to sneak into the wardrobe where we hold our shoes. Getting him out of there takes some doing.

He is extremely rattled tonight - I have a hard time keeping my voice low and quite, since I'm in quite a bit of pain, and he reacts badly to that. He also sees me limping and that freaks him out for some reason.

Earlier, however, he lay next to me in bed and cuddled his head to me, or else patted me with his paws. His eyes were huge and terrified, however,and every once in a while he would start biting and scratching and I would withdraw as much as I can.

Other than that - I think to go to work as usual tomorrow, but take a cab. Will see how the leg is tomorrow. Right now it's swollen and not doing well. The thing I bought is not doing much, and neither of us knows how to bandage a leg.

Mood: Somewhat freaked out but overall, that horribly violent episode is quite over. I still don't know what set that off, and if it's linked or not to my doing balance work and household duties yesterday. That makes me uneasy. Feeling so...fragile, I guess, is the word - is freaking me out.
