a sensetive health issue

i can't being myself to mail about it, since mail is more instrusive than DW. So, if I want to aske a question embarrasses me, I would rather use a post, and hide it under a cut - so that the reading of the qeustion will be entirly by choice and not land in Hagar's mailbox, for one.

So, I need a mid-term solution, and maybe if I use the correct kind of washes and ointment it will improve. Any information from anyone who knows will be highly apprichated. I am not locking this down since I need the info - but that's why I used the cut.

The Child Dispute

Most of the news today suck - The Third Intifada is here indeed - but I have one happy news bit to share:

It's called the "Solomon Case", and in the heart of it is a little Ethiopian boy, who is raised for a few years now by a surgent family. The child is loved and happy, and the surgent family tried to adopt him.

But. The child Aunt made a Petitioned to court, saying that she was not allowed to have a say, and that she wants custody over the boy, and that's it's the child best intrest to be raised with his own Community. The Ethiopian Community is still, indeed, very much apart from the rest of the country, despite a slow proccess of asimilation.).

They have a point, but my feelings about it - (and I say "feelings" since I am no export and can only state my mind) is that the child needs to stay with his loving foster family. He knows them, he is safe with them, they are mom and dad for him, and "Community" is less essential to a child mantel stabilty than a safe and loving environment. And I speak out of some experience of a child who grew very unsafe and unhappy in her own Community and family.

So - today the high court ruled in faviore of letting the child stay -and I am overjoyed. Just pray it will stay this way.
