G the Ninja
My mind is actually inching with anxiety. Which is why I find it so hard to focus on my work.
This time I have at least an inkling about the reason – w e have adopted, apparently, a Ninja cat.
So. Last night I’m off to sleep around 12:30 or so. At the time, the cat was still hiding behind the TV.
During the night, we hear absolutely nothing. No meows, no movement. And I did get up at least, what, 4 times tonight? Twice because of a nightmare and the rest to drink? Every time I’m out of the room, I look for signs of him. No cat.
This morning, both of us look for him. No cat. It looks like he did nibble a bit on his food, and there were a few bottles down in the bathroom, but other than that – he is well and truly vanished.
So, herby, I name him G *sigh*
And Tami thought he is mischievous. So far, no sign of

Oh, yeah, he is such a G. And I'm fretting and trying to figure out all morning where the hell is he. I looked in every possible nook in the house. At some point I feared he actually escaped, but - none of the screens were opened, and I don't think even Ninja cats will open and than close screens after them...
Of course,
Maybe I ought to have a talk with
And, Kitten, had you seen him at Tami’s? You would not believe him to be timid. He was running and jumping to and from things and he came over to sniff my legs and rubbed over me.

It's a cat. He has his own opinions. If you were utterly terrified at a new surrounding, having arrived there in a cage, by means you do not understand, would you want the noisy giants chasing you around the place?
Wait. it. out.

2. Give him 'til the weekend and spend a full day at home, let him get used to your noise and you scents. This takes time. The first time we moved, Ali stayed behind my computer for three days before she went exploring, and she was a grown cat who knew all of us already. Don't push things.

well so far he does not eat much - but he did sneak out at night to use the toilet, and we are beginning to fine short black hair scattered in various areas. It's encouraging.
Frankly? I can’t wait for him to pounce at him. He was such a lively little kitten at Tami’s and it’s sad to see him so scared.
