G antics and other things

So. Our cat is teething, and apparently that makes him about as happy as a human baby at this stage. Meaning; tons and tons of nervous energy, lot's of frantic Frog Jumps, lot's of biting rather strongly (although still without injuring the skin, so) my hands, hips, breast, feet, and every other piece of me he can reach. He even takes to gnawing on his own paws. And I don't know how to help him - his toys do little to divert him.

Also, little bugger had developed a new game - every morning when I am leaving house, he will drop whatever else he's doing at the time, and slips through the door.

my usual method is to let him be for a few minutes while he runs around and explores things. And than I walk over to him, pick him up, plop him down on his favorite chair, and out I am slamming the door shut - praying I will not catch a paw or whisker by mistake. (because of course, as soon as I drop him down he is running for the door again).

yesterday it took me four attempts to get out of the house...today I was down to two. And improvement of a sorts.

health state - yesterday I was fine, more or less. Today, I am rather less than more. Semi Zombie. But than, semi Zombie is better than full Zombie, yes? And if this week will go like the previous one, tomorrow I might be better again. Which is great, since we invited Hagar, Tami and [personal profile] lovechilde for dinner and the voice. (the formal reason - Live Stage in the Voice is on! But, in truth, I don't care why they come. I miss Hagar much by know since we did not meet for a few weeks, and seeing her and Tami and [personal profile] lovechilde is always great fun.)
